Soil, Leaf and Fertiliser Analysis

Fertility analysis for fertilisation programmes

Soil, Leaf and Fertiliser Analysis

Soil and leaf nutrient analysis for agricultural production and fertiliser quality control.

Soil analysis from 2,300 TRY

Correct fertilisation raises yield while reducing cost and environmental load. Soil and leaf analysis shows what the plant really needs. Our laboratory serves farmers, greenhouse growers, landscape firms and fertiliser manufacturers.

Analysis packages

  • Soil: pH, EC (salinity), lime, organic matter, texture, N-P-K, micro-elements
  • Leaf analysis: nutrient content and an interpretation of deficiency or excess
  • Irrigation water suitability: EC, SAR, boron, sodium
  • Fertiliser quality control: label guarantee, nitrogen forms, heavy metals

Sampling

A soil sample is taken from 10 to 15 points of the parcel by walking a zigzag, at a depth of 0 to 30 cm, and mixed to prepare a representative 500 g sample. You can download our sampling guide or use our field team.

Report and interpretation

Together with the report our agricultural engineer gives a written fertilisation recommendation. The same parcels can be monitored annually for end-of-season comparison.

Frequently asked questions

Which of your analyses are within the accreditation scope?
Most analyses in our catalogue are within the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope. The scope list is published on the Accreditation and Guides page; methods outside the scope are stated clearly in the catalogue and the report.
How soon will I get the report?
Time varies by analysis: water microbiology 2, food microbiology 3–6, chemical analyses 4–5, ICP-MS 4, Legionella 10 working days. Fast (+50%) and express (+100%) options shorten the times.
How do I track my report?
Enter the sample number on the reception slip on the Report Lookup page; you see the stages sample received, in analysis, awaiting approval and completed and the estimated delivery date.
How should I send the sample?
In a sterile or suitable container, labelled and at the right temperature (2–8 °C for microbiological). Quantities and rules are written on the Sample Acceptance Conditions page. You can drop it at our reception points, ship it by cold-chain cargo or request the sampling service.
What if the sample is not suitable?
At reception a sample may be rejected if temperature, quantity, container or label is unsuitable; the customer is informed the same day. For conditionally accepted samples this is stated in the report.
